Imagine U Business Series :  Business Law 101
Offer & Acceptance
In a growing economy, opportunities change with knowledge and education.   This workshop aims to provide students with a broad overview of business law.  Through a series of examples and case studies, we will explore how we navigate through business development, contracts, corporate social responsibility, privacy, non-disclosure, competition and excellence in customer service.

Facilitator : Christina Joynt, MSc, UVIC Faculty of Law
Christina Joynt is a second year law student at the University of Victoria. While at the University of Victoria, she has worked as a volunteer with the Indigenous Law Research Unit (ILRU) and as the VP External Communications for the Environmental Law Clinic. Prior to the University of Victoria, Christina attended the University of Oxford and received her MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management. Outside of school, Christina enjoys downhill skiing, camping and almost all outdoors activities. As a result of her combined academic and extracurricular interests, Christina hopes to pursue a career in environmental law.
